"One of The World's Foremost Authorities On Anxiety & Panic Attacks"

ANXIETY IS MISDIAGNOSED
MORE THAN ANY OTHER AILMENT
KNOWN TO MANKIND

ENDURING ANXIETY
Endure, suffer, undergo, go through, experience, live through, "meet".
Avoiding the parts of the human experience and situations and circumstances that may cause anxiety is more often than not, not an option.
Rather the key here, is to take your time and go at your individual taste or speed for discovery and don't think for one moment that making someone else happy by forcing yourself into these areas that could/would stimulate a reaction of an anxiety attack will be beneficial.
It's often times better to spoon feed yourself and eventually enter or become part of these areas or circumstances that stimulate your fight or flight response (anxiety) at a later date, on your own timeframe and under your own terms of accord. Only when you're ready.
Exposing Anxiety
Anxiety and panic attacks are not a game and should not be taken lightly.
In fact, they are real, and as serious as a heart attack.
A high percentage of men and women who frequent emergency rooms have no idea that more often than not what is actually causing them to be there is not what they appear to be there for, but instead, this is just the symptom, not the ailment, and that the ailment is actually anxiety.
What is Discussing Anxiety all about?
Bret Martin has always known he would be talking anxiety in his retirement years, or during the winter of his lifetime.
He knew he had something to offer those that were just beginning on their journey into the deep dark corridor of anxiety and decided to come back to the entrance with a flash light and welcome others to this dark corridor and shed light on the subject of anxiety so that those that are just entering don't have to go through the learning curve for as long as he has/had.
Think of Bret and his fellow participants as guides, teachers, mentors, gurus, as you navigate your life going forward!

MENTALLY ILL
One day we will wake up and realize that the "stigma" on anxiety attacks as a mental illness so to speak will have created a couple generations minimum that have been branded or cursed at the highest regard.
We can't call people RETARTED any more, nor can we call people or label people as DEAF or AUTISTIC, we instead have to label
them as SPECIAL NEEDS, well why not do the same with SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDERS or DEPRESSION, as opposed to classifying these people as MENATLLY ILL.
The term mentally ill is far too harsh for the fact that the aforementioned ailments are simply part of our emotional system as human beings. Anger, sadness, fear and disgust define four of our six emotions instilled in us at birth.
Displaying these emotions does not constitute mental illness, not by any means. In fact, I feel we will RUE the day that we are trying to labeled or classify so many people as mentally ill.
